I took my daughter to see Mr Almeyda in a post-op (2018, Grommets) follow up appointment. And from the instant we we entered the consulting room, my daughter (aged 11) and I were immediately put at ease and warmly-welcomed. Mr Almeyda engaged directly with my daughter, making her feel integral to the engagement, and in a way that exuded equal and appropriate measures of confidence, assurance, humour, fun and fact; even referring to himself as 'Rob.' Pivoting to myself (dad) Mr Almeyda seamlessly switched gears to provide clear and informative answers to questions I asked, or information I needed to receive as the parent. Mr Almeyda undertook a more intrusive examination which naturally may unnerve a child, but in doing so, again he used smart terms of engagement, conversation and humour that successfully swept away any uncertainties my daughter may have experienced. With the medical evidence presented to Mr Almeyda's prognosis was logical, well-explained and in delivering it, sought our agreement and approval, which made us feel part of the decision. Excellent. Our engagement with Mr Almeyda was text-book, excellence in practice and he really did take the time to be present with my daughter and I. His consultative approach, personal demeanour and expertise come together to deliver care excellence, regrettably not always experienced. My daughter and I were thrilled, very grateful and proud to have the opportunity to be taken care of by such expertise. Mr Almeyda is a credit to our care system and we offer our sincere thanks and very worthy of this feedback. Thank you.

I was listened to …. and I was heard ….. I was checked and dealt with swiftly …. I accepted the less invasive recommended course of action …. My condition was checked …. and am pleased to report that the treatment recommended is highly successful. If no change, I’ll be signed off (back to my GP) in 3 months…. but to phone if the symptoms manifest themselves. Very clear support … greatly appreciated … thank you

Excellent overall experience (Available free parking right next to Townlands Memorial Hospital Henley, consultation on time) Consultant clearly explained his thoughts on my condition & recommended an initial treatment plan.

If you ever need help to sort out issues with your nose and sinuses you will not find anyone better. Mr Almeyda exudes a calm, very polite, quiet confidence; thoroughly professional, patient centric and spontaneously and naturally gathers support from all of his team. Seldom does one feel it is a delight to be operated on but … it was … and his after care was exemplorary. Thank you. Chris Howgego (Now blissfully breathing normally through both nostrils)
